Oceanside is a village 8 mi west of Tillamook, OR away from the usual touristy attractions & hubbub, but with nearby parks, golfing, fishing, crabbing, hiking trails, etc.
The beach is great for long walks, kite flying, volleyball, beach fires, and shell collecting
