SITE OVERVIEW · The overarching goal of this website is to serve as a portal for family, friends, and others who are seeking information and resources related to Michael’s life and the tragic accident that ended it. · This site will provide the contact information of the parties affiliated with the accident: Metro Transit, The Amalgamated Transit Union (the union that rehired the driver, Sandy Oloski, two times after she had been fired twice), the King County Council, and the Dahlquist family. · This site will attempt to raise awareness of the serious flaws currently plaguing the Metro Transit Union in hopes of remedying them as well as avoiding future accidents such as the one Michael was involved in. We encourage those who feel moved by this incident to contact Metro with their concerns, but we urge those who choose to contact them to do so in a mature and professional manner. This is a serious issue and should be treated as such. |
