Yes, it’s true! We have expanded and opened a new facility right next door to our shop, and are now able to provide the following:

Your bird, when boarded, will be housed in our totally secure (not open to the general public) facility, and his/her stay comes with cage and food provided: morning beans/veggies, a variety of pellets and healthy treats; a safe and sanitary environment with lush tropical foliage and relaxing music throughout the day; individual playtime for your bird on our many play gyms; full grooming services available upon request; misting/bathing schedule upon request; and the knowledge that all birds accepted for boarding must pass a complete Avian Veterinarian physical exam, which includes oral and fecal cultures, and an avian bloodwork panel. PLUS, our facility is run by Certified Avian Specialists and Veterinary Assistants; we are insured and have a 24-hour monitored security system.
Our boarding rates are modest, only $12/day for Small sized bird cages; $15/day for Medium sized bird cages (also acceptable size for smaller birds, especially for longer stays); and $20/day for Large bird cages, meaning up to the over-sized macaw cages.* We have kept our rates as low as the local “pet sitters” yet provide so much more, so that you and your bird are ensured a quality experience, no matter how long or short your stay is with us!**
*Additional fees apply for grooming, behavioral services and specialty handling/medication administration, etc. Multi-bird and multi-week discounts may be available. Higher rates may apply for certain Holidays. **Two night minimum fee; two night non-refundable deposit required at time of booking reservation.
