African Greys
|
We have a nice assortment of 2010 African Grey babies available right now, both Congos and Timnehs.
I can honestly say that we always produce beautiful, healthy and happy birds anxious to be adopted.
With
the 2010 breeding season coming to a close, we may not have any more babies this year. But our
selection (as of August 2010) is quite good. Keep in mind, however, that for the health and nurturing of
all our Greys, our babies do not go to their new
homes until they are Fully Weaned. |
Amazons
|
We have several wonderful 2010 Amazon babies available, in particular Yellow
Fronted, Yellow Shouldered, and Yellow Napes. If you are unfamiliar with the "Yellow Fronted Amazons," they are quite similar to Blue Fronted Amazons -- loving and excellent talkers. They are all well socialized and of course we
hand feed and raise them
to be very special pets. Some are already talking quite a bit!
|
Caiques
|
We have two adorable White Bellied Caiques available, weaned and ready for adoption.
You must
see these wonderful clowns to appreciate their playful and affectionate personalities. These birds are
listed at 20%
off their regular price. We have been told that we raise the best Caiques available -- and I must agree, as
I hand
feed every one of them myself and always find it difficult to part with them when they are adopted! For
2010 we
expect both Black Headed and White Bellied Caique babies, provided our breeding pairs cooperate. |
Cockatoos
|
We have several wonderful Cockatoos available right now: two Umbrellas, a Goffins, a Rosebreasted, and a
Bare Eyed Cockatoo. All our babies are always hand-raised, sweet, socialized, healthy and overly-loved!
You really must see these loving babies to find
out why we are so well known for the way we raise our Cockatoos, not to mention all of our birds. |
Conures
|
We had baby Sun Conures and Black Capped Conures, which have already been sold, but we still might have more before the season ends.
However, we still have some Green Cheek mutations, i.e. Pineapple Green Cheek and Cinnamon Green Cheek
conures available. Generally we do not raise the Nandays, Jendays or hybrids because of their aggressive
behavior
and tendency to be exceptionally loud. However, occasionally one of our breeders will surprise us with a
nice clutch
of additional conure species so be sure to always ask.

Eclectus
|
We have a male and female Solomon Eclectus hatched this year, and available. However, our Eclectus sell
quickly, so you might want to call the shop to be sure they have not been adopted yet. |
The little Birds
|
We breed all our own Cockatiels, Lovebirds and Parrotlets, and right now we have baby Cockatiels
hatching!! A few baby Cockatiels are available now, with more on the way. We also have very recently hatched Lovebirds. AND, we are proud to have just hatched, on August 19th, our first Pacific Parrotlet from one of our newer pairs. In case you do not know, Parrotlets are the smallest of the whole parrot family. Try to imagine the size of a newly hatched baby Parrotlet -- about the size of a naked Bumblebee!
|
If you
have not seen our īTiels, Lovebirds and Parrotlets, you really should.
They are the sweetest, most tame and loving hand-raised babies you will find, as well as the most
beautiful and
healthy. We pride ourselves in the quality of our parent birds and our own ability to raise what we
consider to be
the best Cockatiels and Lovebirds available. Our Cockatiel selection is varied, with Pearls, Lutinos,
Regular Pieds, Pearl Pieds,
White Faced, and more. Our Lovebirds are Peach Faced, and color mutations vary from clutch to clutch. As always, feel free to call
and
inquire.
Macaws
|
Yes, we do occasionally raise and sell Hyacinth Macaws! We suggest you place an order if you are truly
interested,
as very few babies are hatched per year, sometimes none. If you want to see the quality of our Hyacinth
Macaws,
stop by the shop and meet "Zoe," one of our 2002 babies who is my own personal pet.
We have two Blue & Gold babies available What beautiful birds, one is weaned but still very much
a baby, and ready for adoption now. We have two Greenwings, who have already sold; however, we
possibly will have two more Greenwing "late" babies for the season.

Pionus
|
We have one baby Blue Headed Pionus baby at this time. If you are not familiar
with the Pionus family, and are interested in a Very Quiet but loving and playful bird, stop by and ask us
to educate
you on this wonderful species. |
Poicephalus
|
We are proud to announce that we have two African CAPE PARROTS, very rare as domestic pets, just weaned, and available for adoption. And if you have never seen a Cape parrot, you really ought to see these two. Capes are loving, talkative, intelligent, and independent at times. Personally, I think they make one of the best mid-sized pet parrots with a multitude of personalities.
We
had a few Senegals and Meyers from the 2010 season, but they have been sold. These birds
make wonderful pets, and in my opinion, every Cape, Senegal, Jardines and Meyers baby we raise is
different. Who says
birds donīt have individual personalities?! |
