OVERCOMING ANY PROBLEMS
As your bird matures it is important you understand the changes that will take place. To love him is not enough. You must apply all
the proper handling techniques to maintain his wonderful personality. Mishandling can cause problems. We will endeavor to answer all your questions, or direct you toward proper reading material or other avian resources should we feel the problem warrants such measures.
24-HOUR EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBER
We will be here to answer your questions, for as long as you own your bird. We use an answering machine and respond to it as
quickly as possible. We are not avian vets and, therefore, we cannot practice avian medicine. In the event of a crisis, we will advise
you, as best we can, as to what to do.
RESALE OF YOUR BIRD
If, for any reason, you have to sell your bird, I will set aside any personal interest and help you find a good home for him. For the safety of the other birds in my home and in my shop, I cannot take birds back on a "consignment" type basis, as this could possibly introduce other avian bacteria or virus into the shop. Instead, I will work with you on an individual basis, using the resources available through my own advertising and retail marketing, to assist when possible in locating a new home for your bird. There is no fee for this service.
