We now offer full Bird Grooming services at our store annex. By appointment, we are also available for behavioral consulting services in your home. We also have our BOARDING & GROOMING FACILITY, right next door to our retail shop, where we provide what we consider to be the very best bird boarding services available in Washington, as well as full bird grooming services. Our grooming staff includes Certified Avian Specialists and a Veterinary Technician. We are licensed and insured. We are available for either In-home Bird Behavioral Counseling, or counseling at our boarding facility. Bird counseling does not have to be limited to "problem" birds. Avian Counseling can be very helpful when we are consulted for Nutritional guidance, Environmental guidance, and of course our services may be combined with behavioral issues as well. All bird owners could use a little help now and then.... donīt you think??
By way of more explanation to those of you who are not familiar with our policies: FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS, we DO NOT do grooming or boarding services in our retail shop--so instead we opened a separate facility right next door. We do, however, require that all birds to be boarded have a current annual physical indicating good health, and their medical records must be produced to us for our review. Our commitment to our birds, and to our customers requires that we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and a disease free environment, not only our retail birds, but for our boarding birds, as well as for all the products contained in our shop, which you expect to be fresh, clean and safe when you purchase it for YOUR bird!
