We are avian specialists and bird lovers -- not the "used car salesperson" approach to retail bird sales that you so often see and hear about. We listen to our customers, evaluate their needs and educate them before even considering selling them a bird. Yes, our birds are cute and fun and cuddly, and very enticing to hold and buy. But, the decision to buy a parrot should not be totally emotional. Purchasing a bird because you fell in love with it or felt sorry for it may
end unhappily for you and your parrot. You should be sure that the bird matches your lifestyle and will be everything you expect. That is our goal.

Working with you individually. Knowledgable staff of avian specialists and avian veterinary technicians will answer your questions. When necessary, showing you video tapes of the adult personalities of different types of parrots may be used. By keeping a large library of avian books available for sale, we can assist you in the direction of reading material designed for any specific species of bird. Explaining the responsibilities you will have to meet your birdīs physical and psychological needs. And of course, allowing you to view and interact with our birds in the shop is perhaps the greatest learning aid we have.
When you come to our shop, which is my "home away from home," you will see the finest birds money can buy. How can we be so bold as to make this statement?
First, we breed and raise only high quality, healthy domestic birds. Then, as parrot behaviorists, we apply the proper nurturing guidance techniques to our birds on a daily basis. Our birds are raised in our homes and are protected from the general public. They stay in our homes, being gently and truly hand raised, and are not brought to our shop until fully feathered and ready to greet the real world.
Being raised in our home, our birds are used to a home environment. So we have created a "Home Environment" in our shop, with our babies kept behind glass and still within the safety of our personal care once they make the move to the shop. Because we put so much effort into this transition, they are far less stressed going from our "home" to yours than any "pet store" bird would be.
Yes, you can handle our birds and play with them as part of your educational process. But we screen our clients and require that you wash your hands,all for the safety of our birds.
