I try to make everything on this web site quick and easy, but the beef jerky takes a bit longer and is a bit more complicated. It is worth it thought. Fantastic teriyaki jerky.

1. Beef 3 to 5 pounds of brisket, flank, etc.
2. Teriyaki marinade You will need about a quart of this.
3.Montreal seasoning salt This is optional and goes in the "spicey seasoning salt category"
4.Lemon Pepper This is somewhat required and goes in the "spicey seasoning salt category"
5. Ground black pepper One teaspoon
6. Table salt Two tablespoons
7. Liquid smoke Very important
8. Crushed red peppers Optional, but this works really well on this jerky and is worth using. 3 tablespoons.
9. Soy Suace Very important. One cup.
Slice the meat into long, thin strips (but not razor thin). Marinade in a mixture containing all of the above.
